Alcicla de Venezuela S.A. product of Brazilian (Alcicla) and Venezuelan (Metalnet) capital joint venture, started its secondary aluminum plant operations which has the highest technology to add value to aluminum scrap through recycling. The plant have in its first stage, capacity to produce one thousand five hundred (1.500) Tons/month of half-finished aluminum products: specific alloys of aluminum and rust-removers for iron and steel use. In the second stage, which is programmed to be installed in half 2007, the installation of one second line of production is predicted to reach the installed capacity of two thousand eight hundred (2.800) tons per month. The products that Alcicla of Venezuela will supply to the market in its initial stage, are: • Specific Alloys AA 413, AA380, AA360, AA356, for the automotive industry, in ingots and sows. • Aluminum DEOX in drops and granulated.
